Senior Account Executive - New Business

Metova•Oklahoma City, OK

About The Position

This is a new-business-focused sales role based in Central Arkansas or Northwest Arkansas. The Senior Account Executive will build and own a personal book of business, focusing primarily on finding and closing new clients. The role also serves as relationship owner for a smaller group of existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand those relationships and partnering with leadership and delivery teams to scope work, develop proposals, and grow accounts. The role sells custom software development, mobile and web applications, and managed services engagements. It positions the company’s nearshore delivery team in Guadalajara as a cost and time-zone advantage. The primary territory is Arkansas and the surrounding region, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, and Tennessee, with openness to national accounts and remote clients. Some travel is expected. Compensation consists of base salary plus commission, weighted toward new business, with uncapped earning potential.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling technology services such as custom software, IT services, consulting, or managed services.
  • A proven hunter track record, consistently sourcing and closing new logos rather than managing inherited accounts.
  • Experience running full-cycle sales from cold outreach through contract signature.
  • Comfort communicating with technical and executive buyers.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and how project-based and retainer engagements are sold.

Nice To Haves

  • An existing network in Arkansas or the surrounding region.
  • Experience selling nearshore or offshore services.

  • Build a regional presence through industry events, local business groups, and referral partners.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new revenue targets.
