This role involves reviewing reappointment materials for accuracy, completeness, academic quality, and compliance with University of Cincinnati standards. The specialist will identify and resolve gaps or inconsistencies in faculty materials, track strict University of Cincinnati deadlines across multiple annual cycles, and ensure adherence to institutional, college, and accrediting-body policies. Additionally, the role focuses on process management and continuous improvement by implementing workflows, identifying streamlining opportunities, and supporting the expansion of ARPT processes. The specialist will coordinate logistics for the Promotion & Tenure Committee and Research and Discovery Committee (RDC) requisitions, maintain knowledge of various systems and databases, and assist with calendar management and long-range planning. A key aspect of the role is developing deep expertise in ARPT policies and academic standards, analyzing guidelines, resolving complex cases, and preparing analytics for reporting. The position also involves managing key partnerships and collaborations, communicating requirements to faculty and leadership, and serving as a resource for problem-solving and process clarification.
