About The Position

This internship is a hands-on role working in a cleanroom environment where you’ll support the development, and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate engineering, mechanical, materials or related technical programs.
  • Foundational knowledge of concepts, tools, or methods relevant to the internship (semiconductor processing methods, thin-film disposition, dry etch, lithography, and metrology).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply classroom learning through coursework, projects, laboratory work, research, or other relevant experience.
  • Available for the full internship period.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cleanroom experience and familiarity with wafer fabrication tools and metrology systems are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run experiments to develop or improve semiconductor and thin-film fabrication methods, focusing on yield, throughput, and consistency
  • Learn and safely operate semiconductor tools such as deposition systems, etch systems, lithography equipment, and metrology tools
  • Analyze data and make process decision to achieve desired outcome. Summarize, present, and discuss findings with team.
  • Perform tasks in a controlled cleanroom environment, handling wafers and sensitive equipment
  • Work with senior process engineers, process technicians and manufacturing operators, to ensure process compatibility and quality
  • Maintain detailed records of processes, procedures, and test results
