About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. This role involves applying materials characterization techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, resistance measurements and ellipsometry to characterize materials and make recommendations on vectors to improve materials performance towards program goals. It also requires applying knowledge of novel materials development and characterization, statistical process control, and electrical characterization of devices. The engineer will collaborate and share internal and proprietary knowledge with equipment engineers, manufacturing engineers, integration engineers, and others. A key responsibility is owning the transfer of new films and technology developments to manufacturing sites.
