About The Position

Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer. This role involves monitoring the health of semiconductor processes to ensure high-quality output and developing proactive redundancy plans for potential bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns. The engineer will write and modify recipes for efficient tool processing and experimentation, analyze data for critical decision-making and cost reduction, and resolve CT/capacity-related issues. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment usage and production efficiency for maximum output, providing QDR documentation and follow-up, responding to chronic SPC performance issues by identifying root causes, and offering troubleshooting support for complex process problems. The role also ensures the quality process of daily operations, communicates process holds, formulates action plans, maintains matching, and drives process consistency. Effective planning for required capacity and product mix, ensuring equipment capability for projected variance, and providing timely guidance for equipment issues are also key aspects of this position. International travel is required up to 25%.
