  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
  • Internship, co-op, research, or laboratory experience related to semiconductors, photonics, materials science, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, JMP, Tableau, Mathematica, or similar software.
  • Experience working in laboratory, cleanroom, or manufacturing environments.
  • Coursework or experience related to semiconductor devices, electronics, optics, materials characterization, or statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and manufacture of advanced semiconductor and optoelectronic devices.
  • Analyze device performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with process optimization, yield improvement, and manufacturing support activities.
  • Perform electrical, optical, and physical characterization of devices and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and production teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Document experimental results and communicate findings through reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Execute projects under the guidance of senior engineers while progressively increasing independent technical responsibility.
