About The Position

The Self-Sufficiency Supervisor is a supervisory-level role in the Self-Sufficiency Specialist occupational group. The supervisor leads Self-Sufficiency Specialists who determine eligibility for government assistance programs and provide employment services. It also supports program implementation, interprets policy and regulatory changes, monitors expenditures, and works with other agencies and community groups. The supervisor may act on behalf of the Director when designated. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and human services program experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applicants may be subject to background and other pre-employment checks. The applicant must be willing to work in a community emergency shelter in the event of a disaster or emergency.
