About The Position

Under direct supervision, this role receives and schedules requests for messenger service, dispatches messengers and equipment, and keeps records of services rendered. Requirements

• High School diploma and 6-9 months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires the ability to deal with others effectively and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Receives and schedules request for messenger service.
• Dispatches messengers and equipment.
• Keeps records of services rendered.
• Directs and guides the flow of work to the Transport Assistants by receiving and scheduling request for service and equipment.
• Dispatches equipment.
• Keeps dispatch board current for effective utilization of staff.
• Informs Supervisor of related problems with service and equipment.
• Occasionally performs the duties of Transport Assistants.
• Performs other related duties as required.
