About The Position

The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to execution plans and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible across the Americas. Our team drives regional plans, insights and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale. As an AI Business Solutions (ABS) Segment GTMM, you drive Operating Unit business health and execution at scale to achieve revenue, usage, and share goals. You lead the OU Plan while surfacing field, customer and partner insights and challenges to guide strategy. This strategic position is responsible for driving execution excellence with the field. They work to enable OU to achieve their ABS targets by building, updating, and driving execution of the OU Plan. Additionally, they leverage the OU’s Insights & Challenges to remove blockers and influence the Go-To-Market plan. The Segment GTMM is required to have a strong understanding of the AI Business Solutions product set, strategy and seller resources. This specific position is focused on our ABS business in Canada. Candidates should be fluent in English and located in Canada, preferably in or near a major city. This OU's customers are cross-industry led by financial services, public sector, manufacturing and professional services so experience in working for or with these sectors is a benefit to the field team. Special preference will be given for candidates residing in Toronto, but the primary focus is on a candidate’s ability to meet the other requirements and qualifications. Requirements

  • 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.

  • 12+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in working for or with financial services, public sector, manufacturing and professional services sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field, Sales Excellence, and Finance to drive Segment performance across revenue, consumption usage and share.
  • Define, implement and orchestrate segment strategy for field execution of prioritized solution plays.
  • Drive adoption of Security Execution Handbook for standardize execution. Leverages rhythms to coach and guide business performance.
  • Partner with Product, Program, CMO, and cross-SE&O teams to execute marketing strategy and comprehensive solution plays. Maximize pipeline impact through effective customer targeting, event follow-up, and content that highlights Security priorities.
  • Models living the Microsoft culture and drives our core principles to deliver success. Adopts Copilot and modern ways of working to simplify and streamline processes.
  • Ensure OU performance across revenue, consumption, usage, business health, pipeline health, and market share.
  • Lead FY planning and ongoing ‘path to green’ strategies. Oversee pipeline generation, acceleration, top deal reviews, and unblock key actions aligned to Solution Plays.
  • Serve as the escalation point for SE&O, Investment, and WW teams to resolve OU-specific challenges. Surface market, customer, and partner insights to inform and adjust strategy and execution.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $128,000 - CAD $222,400 per year.
