About The Position

This role is for a Seed Production Coordinator (m/f/d) in a full-time, permanent position at KWS LOCHOW GmbH in Wohlde-Bergen. The position supports the Production & Logistics team of the Cereals Business Unit in implementing, organizing, and managing production processes and associated seed multiplication activities. The role offers an opportunity to contribute expertise to the future of seed production in a globally oriented, future-focused team.

Requirements

A completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant knowledge and experience in the seed industry
Experience in arable farming or field trials
Willingness to travel seasonally
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, combined with the ability to quickly understand complex system structures
Flexibility and enthusiasm for development in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the seed industry is an advantage
Knowledge of processes in enterprise resource planning or goods management systems would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, and managing all production-related activities in the area of hybrid cereals
Meeting the requirements of internal and external customers while considering cost and quality aspects in the area of high-level seed multiplication
Planning seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed, including maintaining and expanding the network of multipliers and processors
Collaborating with national Production Research, international SeedTech teams and Breeding to optimize multiplication and production, including trials, pilot productions and multiplication schemes
Contributing to cross-departmental IT projects and communication tools, such as SAP S/4 Hana etc.
Supporting budget planning and the calculation of production costs
Taking on personnel and functional responsibility for hybrids and cover crops in the future, as well as leading interdisciplinary teams
