About The Position

The Security employee helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The role preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Employees interact frequently with client employees and guests, provide customer service, use technology devices during their shift, and complete site-specific duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises, including access control and patrols.
Help preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
