About The Position

The Security Technician supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage technologies. The role works alongside project leads and superintendents to complete installations safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements. It is described as a 100% travel technician role across the United States, starting in Rayville, Louisiana. Travelers receive per diem and housing. The position is listed as contract-to-hire and fully onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.

Requirements

Security installation experience, including CCTV and access control.
Familiarity with commercial construction sites.
Basic networking knowledge.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Excellent customer service skills.

Manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

Install and service access control and CCTV systems.
Pull, terminate, label, and test cabling.
Assist with system startup and commissioning.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Follow project drawings and installation standards.
Complete required project documentation.
Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
