About The Position

As a Security Supervisor, you will act as a vital link between departmental leadership and frontline operations. You will be responsible for the direct supervision of Security Officers during assigned shifts, ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed and that our high standards for guest service are maintained. You will provide real-time guidance, handle escalated incidents, and ensure the seamless execution of daily security operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, emergency response planning, and de-escalation techniques.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of performing demanding physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, patrolling large areas, lifting equipment, and intervening in physical de-escalation or emergency situations.
  • Valid Certificate in First Aid and CPR.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in French is considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and impartial under pressure or during crisis situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a high level of literacy for professional report writing.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must adhere to high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Must complete a 1-month training period as regular officer
  • Must successfully complete a 1-month training period as a supervisor
  • Must also successfully complete Level 1 de-escalation training within 2 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in French is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of Security Officers, ensuring they are positioned effectively and performing their duties according to company policy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for security-related issues during the shift, providing immediate direction and support to the team.
  • Monitor access control, floor activity, and surveillance to ensure the safety of team members, guests, and assets.
  • Intervene in and de-escalate complex or problematic situations, including guest disturbances or intoxications.
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and training for Security Officers to ensure compliance with protocols and service standards.
  • Write complete, accurate, detailed, and comprehensive incident reports.
  • Coordinate immediate responses to emergencies, alarms, or medical incidents, including the administration of First Aid or CPR if necessary.
  • Ensure all security equipment and technology are functional and being utilized correctly by the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Gaming, F&B, Surveillance) to resolve operational issues and maintain a professional environment.
