About The Position

ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join its Buckingham team! The Maintenance Supervisor manages human and material resources to meet the needs of the plant in the most efficient way (volumes, quality and cost) while respecting the collective agreement, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures a safe working environment for maintenance employees and contractors. They are also responsible for the working environment by developing work methods and procedures for the maintenance department. Ensures employees are following rules and procedures, including good work practices, and will additionally be supervising external contractors on a daily basis.

Requirements

• College Diploma required or equivalent training and experience.
• Mechanical or Electrical Technician training required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of Responsible Care Codes and Practices, Quality Systems, Problem Solving, Contracts and Service Agreements.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Business Platforms such as JD Edwards, E-One, Dayforce, Coupa, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Planning of daily maintenance activities and shutdown.
• Preparing weekly maintenance jobs as identified during weekly planning meeting and assigning work to employees.
• Will adjust plans based on daily requirements of operations to minimize downtime.
• Monitors work performed by the maintenance employees.
• Meeting all safety and environmental procedures including regular safety meetings, JSAs and contractor supervision.
• Managing employees (performance reviews, training, working hours, breaks) while respecting the collective agreement.
