About The Position

The Security Supervisor implements security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual rounds by Public Safety/Security Officers. The role coordinates the facility’s response to potential problems affecting patients, employees, and visitors; enforces policies and procedures equitably; and establishes guidelines and ongoing monitoring techniques to support a safe workplace and environment of care. The supervisor works with the Environment of Care committee on a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives as needed for company business. This full-time position is at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. The schedule is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with rotating weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
State Guard Certification/Card.
State driver’s license upon hire.
Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a lead security position.
Hospital security work experience.
