The role requires researching and formulating policies and procedures, conducting in-depth confidential investigations to protect company assets, reputation, and business integrity, and presenting analysis to senior management. It also involves establishing and maintaining a progressive and empowered workforce, training, counseling, and coaching personnel, and preparing performance reviews. Recommendations for hiring, promotion, demotion, termination, and wage adjustments are part of the responsibilities. Maintaining professional skills by staying updated on technical developments and participating in developmental programs is crucial. The role includes interviewing, selecting, and training employees, ensuring safety and security, handling employee complaints and grievances, recommending disciplinary actions, and monitoring legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws. Participation in the development of key assumptions and critical documents, continuous evaluation of activity and financial performance, and communication with the department and senior management are also required. The role involves attending court hearings for guest liability claims and acting as a liaison with various external agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Works, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher is necessary. Adherence to attendance guidelines, regulatory, departmental, and company policies, including the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, is expected. Team members are expected to participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. The ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team, understand and communicate in English, respond to visual and aural cues, and maintain a professional appearance are essential. Compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures, and the ability to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, are required.
