About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Supervisor in Downtown Houston. The role provides leadership and direction to security officers and ensures daily operations meet company standards, client expectations, and post requirements. The supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through professionalism, attentiveness, safety, and customer service.

Requirements

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
State Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer License.
Reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Intermediate computer skills.
Familiarity with security camera systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor; must wear a business suit while on duty.
Ability to interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and transient individuals.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols and work in various weather conditions.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Supervise security officers and daily site operations.
Ensure compliance with post orders, client expectations, and DSI policies.
Conduct inspections, coach officers, and address performance concerns.
Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors.
Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time, and escalate incidents as required.
Maintain a safe and secure environment through a visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Interact professionally with clients, tenants, visitors, employees, and the public.
Participate in required training and follow DSI safety procedures.
