About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a retail location in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring activity, and providing customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and contractors. The role requires clear communication, professionalism, teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care for people. The position pays $18.70 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Employees may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate with site representatives.
