About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel or resort location in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff through customer service and communication. The role involves following site-specific security procedures and policies, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and preparing reports. The listed pay rate is $19.80 per hour. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, event spaces, back-of-house locations, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, and daily activities.
