Security Specialist II - TS/SCI Clearance

About The Position

The Security Specialist II maintains overall safety and security within the agency and helps disseminate security information across departments. The role supports compliance with security directives and procedures, classified-material handling, personnel security processing, security training records, and related investigations and reporting. The position is with Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI), a federal contractor that supports federal government and commercial enterprises. CNI states that it is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
Must possess the appropriate level of certifications required for the position.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining overall agency safety and security.
Ensure compliance with security directives.
Assist with security procedures, including control and management of Limited or Vault Type Rooms, access authorizations, and registration.
Assist in controlling and handling classified material.
Review classified visits, foreign visits and assignments, and foreign travel requests.
Help investigate, track, and report security infractions by Federal and Contractor staff.
Assist with staff in-processing and out-processing, including initiating security clearance and badge requests, administering electronic questionnaires, and providing follow-up.
Assist with acquiring badges, badge turn-ins, debriefings, and account terminations.
Track Federal compliance with the Annual Security Refresher Briefing.
Maintain training records for all employees.
Assist with FACTS data entry for Foreign National Unclassified Visits and assignments.
