About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Site Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position is full-time, pays $15.50 per hour, and is located in ZIP code 77041. Daily pay or weekly pay options are available.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of security experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good guest-relations skills.
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs frequently.
Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated company standards, required insurance coverage, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Exceptional customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to work in cold, rainy, snowy, or hot conditions.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders.
Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate quality security services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
Supervise staff and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
Enforce contract standards.
Administer site safety programs that outline site-specific hazards for security officers, including vehicle and driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures.
Prepare for and participate in unemployment hearings.
Use scheduling and billing software and produce reports requiring interpretation and action for effective business management.
Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in handbooks and executive memos.
Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
