About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in Southaven, Mississippi. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality service delivery during an assigned shift at a customer site and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role supervises assigned-shift staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position pays $22.00 per hour and requires security and supervisory experience, as well as a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Security experience and supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license; for driving positions, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated standards, required insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs frequently.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
