About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Responsibilities include supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The role requires effective customer service and communication, intermediate computer skills for client-specific wireless technology, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently to common and crisis situations. The stated starting pay rate is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Prepare written reports and logs frequently, with neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience; maintain a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months); meet company insurance requirements; and be able to operate a vehicle safely.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• More than two years of previous security supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license held for more than one year.

Responsibilities
