About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor at $30.82 per hour. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site, and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising shift staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment limits.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: possess a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience; have a clean driving record as defined in the posting, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
