About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring for a security role in Los Angeles, California. The position focuses on surveillance and threat detection in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The officer monitors security systems, observes activity, responds to incidents, patrols premises, controls access, and helps protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, at $21 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. GardaWorld also describes opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
