About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in Milpitas, California. The role supervises the security team during the assigned shift and helps ensure client security requirements are met. Duties combine team leadership and training with visitor assistance, patrols, access control, incident response, and security-system checks. The position is full-time, Wednesday through Sunday, from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, at an hourly rate of $23.15. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

Hold a state security license and complete additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Have at least one year of security supervisor experience.
Provide an up-to-date security supervisor resume.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise the security team during the assigned shift.
Train new officers.
Help manage schedules to ensure there are no unstaffed posts during the shift.
Act as a liaison between staff and management and ensure client security requirements are met.
Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Protect the safety of individuals and property.
