About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor for a shopping center in Huntington Beach, California. This full-time position works the graveyard shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Friday through Tuesday, at a pay rate of $21.89 per hour. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality security services during an assigned shift and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated company criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
