About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The advertised pay rate is $23.75 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare frequent written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• For driving positions, a clean driving record: no major violations in the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• For driving positions, minimum insurance as required by company policy and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; may be required to pass a driver's record check.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cold, rainy, snowy, or hot conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
• Any applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state or local laws and regulations.
