About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver at a commercial real estate location in La Jolla, California, you will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This is an unarmed driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The role involves routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, communication, and response to incidents and other site needs. The position is full-time and pays $21.42 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to address incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations; escalate matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, the perimeter, and other designated property locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site-specific protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity through required reports and shift communications.
