Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver for a shopping center in El Paso, Texas. This unarmed driving patrol role serves clients in a retail setting, helping safeguard customers and associates and maintain a welcoming environment. The officer conducts vehicle and foot patrols, maintains a visible professional presence, communicates with people at the site, responds to concerns, and follows site-specific procedures and Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security concerns to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations while following established site procedures.
- Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and help deter theft, unauthorized activity, and disturbances through a professional presence.
