About The Position

As a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Professional at a retail shopping center in El Paso, Texas, you will help safeguard shoppers, store associates, visitors, and the property. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and help provide a welcoming environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, with compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and constructively to customer disputes, suspected theft, medical situations, and other critical events.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, entrances and exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation in accordance with location procedures.
