About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver at a shopping center in Gresham, Oregon, you will serve and safeguard clients in a retail setting. This unarmed driving position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time and pays $18.75 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws. Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized behavior.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Monitor access to designated areas and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
