About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for shopping center driving patrols and inspections in Foothill Ranch, California. The officer serves and safeguards clients at a retail location by driving throughout assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting security-related concerns. The role also involves providing customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and employees; assisting visitors and tenants; and communicating clearly with site personnel. The position is listed as a swing shift, with scheduled shifts Monday through Wednesday and Saturday through Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $19.50 per hour. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license for this driving position and a high school diploma or equivalent. Unarmed applicants must be at least 18 years old. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and may need to be met before employment. Customer service experience, a guard card or license, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds are preferred. Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for this driving position.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe property activity; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
Drive throughout assigned areas as part of patrol duties.
Assist visitors and tenants and communicate clearly with site personnel.
