About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor for a bus depot in Eastchester, Bronx. This full-time role supervises and coordinates quality service delivery during an assigned shift and serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The supervisor oversees staff on the shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

The position is overnight, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., with candidates expected to be flexible Monday through Sunday. The stated pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to applicable state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated company criteria, required insurance coverage, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, snowy, or hot conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during the shift.
• Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
