About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site in Social Circle, Georgia. The supervisor acts as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. They supervise staff on their shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved limits. The role pays $19.57 per hour and is scheduled for the second shift, 1400–2200.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Administer site safety programs addressing site-specific hazards, including construction-area safety.
• Enforce Allied Universal policies outlined in handbooks and executive memos.
• Oversee job-related and ongoing officer training, including client-based computer training, initial and annual training, and training on client systems.
• Communicate client coverage requests, security professional time-off requests, and position openings to the Operations Manager.
• Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
• Communicate staffing needs to the Account Manager.
• Implement and enforce client security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security patrols and premises inspections.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and access-control systems.
• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents.
• Investigate security breaches and suspicious activities.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for the Operations Center.
• Coordinate and maintain open communication with clients, Allied Universal management, and security officers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client and Operations Manager on day-to-day operations.
• Brief staff on security protocols, new procedures, and other important information.
