About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring full-time Security Shift Supervisors for a corporate site in Boston, Massachusetts. All shifts are available. The starting pay is $23.14 per hour, with paid orientation and training. The Shift Security Supervisor supervises and coordinates the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site. The role serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The supervisor oversees staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• The posting specifies 2+ years of previous security supervisor experience and says candidates must be 21+ years old; the qualifications section also lists a minimum age of 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• Intermediate computer skills to use innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required; a driver's record check may also be required.
• For driving positions, a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, insurance meeting company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities
