About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for a healthcare facility. The Shift Security Supervisor supervises and coordinates delivery of quality services on an assigned customer shift and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The supervisor oversees staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, required minimum insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
