About The Position

As a Security Officer Behavioral Crisis Response in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting, supporting a dynamic hospital environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control and emergency response, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role requires working in and around a hospital morgue and being able to restrain individuals when necessary. This is a full-time position paying $21.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Willingness to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Willingness to work in and around a hospital morgue.
Ability to restrain individuals when necessary.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and assist with access control and emergency response.
Provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
