About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced, unarmed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is full-time.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions, have a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
