About The Position

Titan Security is hiring Security Shift Supervisors at various locations throughout the Detroit metro area. The role supports Titan’s customized security services by providing customer service, maintaining a safe environment, monitoring property, controlling access, and responding to incidents. Supervisors help serve clients and support the security team while upholding Titan’s values of being Unified, Transparent, Innovative, Committed, and Accountable.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or GED.
At least two years of supervisor experience.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which may include lifting 75 pounds, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a security officer.
Bilingual ability is considered a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
Conduct general patrols on foot and in a vehicle to check for security violations, unsafe conditions, and unauthorized persons.
Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required.
Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property, including packages.
Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident data for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
