About The Position

Fresh Mark’s Canton, Ohio facility is accepting applications for second-shift supervisor positions in Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality. Supervisors provide leadership and direction to hourly associates engaged in manufacturing and processing food products. The specific expectations and schedules for each position will be discussed during interviews. Supervisors are expected to report one hour before their shift for start-up duties and remain after the shift as needed to complete reports and paperwork. Overtime and weekend availability is required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Requirements

A combination of two years of education, training, and/or work experience related to business management, food production, manufacturing processes, or a related field.
Availability to work overtime and weekends.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Production Supervisors: Two years of experience supervising in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain employee safety through training, enforcement of safety rules, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a sound working relationship with bargaining unit employees.
Drive departmental efficiencies and maximize productivity.
Monitor and control inventory levels and yields.
Ensure effective communications.
Control labor costs, staffing, and overtime.
Monitor machinery to maintain quality and minimize downtime.
Monitor product quality and flow to meet customer demands and requirements.
Promote and maintain teamwork among employees.
