About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Threat Recognition in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution settings. In this screener role, you will support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and assisting in identifying prohibited items. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The role offers access to additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate while providing customer service.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or shipments according to site procedures and access-control requirements.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help prevent unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, loading zones, and the perimeter as assigned.
