About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Protection Patrol in Fletcher, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. The role supports a welcoming environment through clear communication, professional customer service, and teamwork. This is an unarmed patrol position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor facility access, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Observe and report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
