Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in procedures, issuing badges or credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with location policies.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, direct inquiries, and report unusual activity, incidents, and/or concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and assisting with incident reporting and other administrative duties as needed.
