Requirements

  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and visitor management practices for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, assist employees, visitors, and vendors, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and unusual conditions according to post instructions.
  • Support front desk operations by managing arrivals and departures, maintaining awareness of entry points, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
