About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jeffersonville, Indiana, you will help safeguard the site and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role includes conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, communicating clearly, and reporting security-related concerns. Pay is $17.63 per hour. The schedule is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and document incidents, observations, and shift activity in required reports.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership about security conditions and operational needs.
