About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a chemical and petrochemical location in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. The role includes professional communication and customer service for employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations calmly, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, loading and shipping areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while following applicable procedures.
