About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver License Required in Amarillo, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full time, pays $17.00 per hour, and is paid weekly. The posted schedule is Monday 12:00 PM–11:30 PM, Wednesday 6:00 PM–11:30 PM, Saturday 12:00 PM–11:30 PM, and Sunday 12:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Assist with access control and monitoring customer, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
Accurately and completely document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports.
