About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Hospital Security Officer at an elderly care center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard residents, visitors, and staff by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, and responding professionally to security-related needs and emergencies. The scheduled shifts are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and/or First Aid certification.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and guests by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, entrances, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and site information, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site leadership.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, staff, and Allied Universal leadership.
