About The Position

Wells Enterprises (a Ferrero Company) is seeking a Security Officer to perform command center duties and general patrol duties. This role involves monitoring CCTV, patrolling premises to prevent and detect intrusions, and responding to security issues. The officer will also be responsible for providing clear and concise information, preparing for audits, writing reports, and performing investigations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 0-2 years security experience.
• Strong verbal and communication skills required.
• Skill in utilizing security and lock systems and procedures.
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Ability to gather data - compile information and prepare reports.

Nice To Haves

• Military or Police Science beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all command center duties and general patrol duties of the Officer position.
• Certified and able to perform CPR, First Aid and use of an AED.
• Providing clear concise information to supervisors, co-workers either by radio, written, electronic or in person.
• Certified Drug and Alcohol technician.
• Prepare and assist with physical audits, research and recommend solutions.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized person, or unusual occurrences.
• Perform investigative and follow up to all irregularities.
• Patrol industrial and office premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Benefits

• The base pay range for this position is $18.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
